THESE ARE JUST A FEW NOTES FROM STUDENTS WHO BET THEIR LIVES ON MY TRAINING

Just wanted to take a minute and thank you for the great classes.  Me and my family feel so much better for training.  The things you went over really showed us the years of tae kwon do we did as a family were nothing more than a hobby.  We really don't look at our blackbelts the same any more.  We enjoyed our time there, but after a few minutes with you, it's easy to see the dojang training really isn't going to work.  Which brings me to the point of my letter.  Our teen daughter was our with her friend.  She's much taller than last year when you trained us, but still skinny and looks like she needs a good meal :}

Her and her friends were at a party, and some drunk guys started to get '' a little too friendly".    One of her friend is also a tkd black belt from out old school.  As things went too far,  the girls tried to leave and the drunk boys stopped the,  blocked their way, and then physically tried to get them.   Her black belt friend told them she was a black belt and got into her fighting stance.  The other girls just stood there,  like you said,  no one really wants to get involved even they are your "friends".   One of the boys made fun of her,  asked what she could do,  then he went to shove her,   my daughter said she just stood there,   never even tried a technique from our old class,  the boy shoved her hard and knocked her back.   My daughter said she was really surprised as we had all worked on these types of attacks every class at the old school.  then he went back up to her and grabbed her arms.  As I understand it,  she just couldn't break free.  Like you told us, and showed us,  the easy compliant attacks in the dojang just aren't real and don't prepare you for the real thing.  My daughter stepped in ,  no one else would.  When she told him to let her friend go,  he asked what she would do if he didn't.

After a few words were exchanged,  he let her friend go and tried to grab her.  She said she took the stance you showed us,  didn't even think about it,  as he put his hands on her,   she did the joint lock  and that sweeping hip throw.     She put the boy on his butt,  everyone laughed at him,   but wait.   He got up and tried to hit her,   that's when she said her block came out of no where and she hit him in that spot you showed us,   kid just dropped.   All his friends laughed at him just laying there she said.

I'm always so proud of my kids for not drinking or doing drugs,  and now she sees that if she had been drunk too,   bad things would have happened.

We are forever grateful to you,  had not come to you for that seminar,  and then stayed for training,  I think our baby would have been raped.  and that we couldn't live with.   THANK YOU ,     THANK YOU FOR KEEPING OUR BABY SAFE AND TEACHING US.

I wish more people would open their eyes to see the stuff you do for belts is not what will save you when it's real.

with sincere gratitude,  the Liemens

Just a quick note of thanks.  On behalf of myself and my team, we are deeply indebted to you for providing us with the techniques and tools we need to stay alive and keep our vip's alive.   We just returned from deployment and used several of your methods successfully on our detail.

Thank you

Lee and the team

I want to thank you for your training.  We have paid for camps and seminars all over this country and abroad.  The techniques taught are always the same.  Bend an arm, sweep a leg. ....  We are always at a loss in the field when we try to use them.  Your seminar was so enlightening.  Your explanations of how the body works and how the mind works gave us a whole new way to look at things.  You said it was more a mental game than a physical one and you are so right.  No one has ever explained the human mind like you.   The reality you brought to the seminar is unmatched.  Usually some one attacks you in a way that is so far from the real thing.  You made it so real...  it really exposed our weaknesses and showed us what we need to work on.

This was by far the best seminar I have ever attended.  You will definitely see us next year.

I thought I knew what I was doing until I took your class.  I felt that with my military training, law enforcement back ground, and life experience I had a good grip on things.  You really opened my eyes and gave me techniques that really work.   Age is a terrible thing.  I don't want to be a victim because I got old.  In my youth I was a brawler and was able to take the beating.  Now in my late 50's I am not so willing to just duke it out.   You techniques are by far the best.  They take a lot of practice but  it all makes so much sense   I wish I found you 30 years ago.  I wouldn't have the scars and pains I have now .   thanks Joey P.

I took your class to better prepare myself for my new career as an air marshal.   The training they gave me was great.  It taught a lot of things that I had covered in the military and many I had never seen before.  But Your training was so much more than I hoped for.  Your knowledge of weapons and human nature is unparalleled.  Your methods of deception and undetectable movement are amazing.  I will be required to fight in close quarters between seats and passengers.   I have a large responsibility to act efficiently and accurately.   Your training was the ticket.   Since your class I have been complimented by my superiors many times on my quick and decisive action.   Thank you .   I will attend your class every time I fly into your hub.

My training at the police academy was not what I had expected.  When I got to the jail the real life scenarios were much different from the DT we had at the academy.  When an inmate wants to kill you and pulls out a spike from no where you really have to act on instinct.   I had a few close calls and that;s why I wanted to get some training  outside of our mandated courses.   I looked around and everyone seemed to have the "killer moves" but when I asked them to demonstrate they quickly denied using me and just seemed to beat up their most acrobatic students.   No real attacks.  Even when I paid for private sessions, they never made it real.  You really brought the realism to training.   You are not afraid to get hit and you know how to role play.  I thought you actually were the inmate.  Something that no one else understands, the attitude is important to the training.   You are a tough guy with a very controlled manner.  You really showed my how good your techniques are and kept it real and safe.   I really thought I could get away a few times but you got me.   That's what I was looking for.   I'm not training for trophies or belts.  My trophy is going home after my shift in one piece.   Your training helps me every day.

Thanks,   Deputy, MARSHAL
