This
course will focus mainly on weapon retention, shooting techniques, and
counter defenses. Upon
request the class will touch on handcuffing, baton,
escorts, OC spray, and surveillance. As a G licensed officer you
are mainly a deterrent and have no powers to arrest.
Class will focus heavily on the limits of the law and your job
description. However the mandated training is very
basic and does not prepare the officer for life and death situations
where a choice must be made without hesitation. We
can better prepare you for what you may face in the field.
